I have been teaching kitesurfing at the St. Joris Bay for Awa Salu Kiteboarding Curacao for two months now. I really like the school and I have been falling in love with the spot. The first time I kited here I had to get very used to the different types... of wind, the wind feels 'thinner' than in The Netherlands. After I get used to the lighter wind, and the bigger kites, I really enjoy coming every single day to the spot. The spot has a lot to offer, if you want some waves you can find them here, you prefer flat water instead to practise and optimize your tricks, you can go upwind to the 'butter spot'. Especially the mornings and sunsets are amazing at the St. Joris Bay. The ocean is super calm, and I had the best sessions!
